Favorite writer? favorite work? why?
My favorite writer is Sam Smith, he writes for the Chicago Tribune and covers everything on the Chicago Bulls. He is my favorite writer because he is a true, but very realistic fan of the bulls. He loves sports just like me

Is it important to study classical works such as shakespear, chaucer and the Bible?
It is very important to study all of these works, simply for the fact that you get to see history from a different perspective. Shakespear has plays about all walks of life and Chaucer wrote about several different kind of people. These things give you several different views of how life was back then. Studying the bible is important if for nothing else to learn about Jesus duh! lol haha

What does good writing look like?
Good writing is clean and concise. It really needs to be simple. The best things I have ever read are usually straight to the point. KISS!

What is your favorite book and why?
My favorite book of ALLLLL time would have to be Honus and Me. It is a kid's story about a young boy who finds a magic baseball card that takes him back in time. He meets Honus Wagner (a great baseball player) and spends time with him. The reason this is my favorite book of all time would be becasue it reallly got me into reading... it led me to Bill Wallace who wrote some ofthe best kid adventure books led to man. Im not a big reader, but if it wasnt for Honus and Me I would never read.

What does an English major look like?
I picture an English major as a man or woman carrying about twenty books and inside each book is about a thousand pages worth of notes. To any outside viewer it looks like complete chaos, but to the English major it is in perfect harmony.
